The first and best online forum for anything to do with white papers.
Free registration. Lots of articles, discussions, and even a place for vendors
to request bids on a white paper. A must-visit site at the top of my list.

This doesn't turn up at the top of any Google search, but it's a classic from technology marketing expert
Kristin Zhivago. Lots of solid advice on how to tell your technology's story in a persuasive but not salesy way.
Published in 2002, it stands up today with only one caveat: white papers have become shorter and more colorful in the past few years.
(Click "Ultimate Guides" to see link.) Published way back in 1997 by Alan Radding, this paper gives an excellent introduction
to the role white papers can play in a complex technology sale. He covers the different flavors of white papers and answers many
fundamental questions. Still relevant today.
I'm adding more resources to this list in July/August of 2005.
